MBA /MOT Program: / Students, through the Waseda Business School (WBS) Program, will have opportunities to specialize in areas such as strategic management, entrepreneurship, and technology management. In particular, in addition to the traditional MBA coursework, WBS offers a unique interdisciplinary course as the Management of Technology (MOT) Program that incorporates the discipline of management into the field of technology. This enables WBS to bring a special focus on the training of management professionals who will be adept at integrating the latest technologies into an overall management strategy in order to respond to the rapidly changing needs of society.
WBS offers two degree programs: MBA and MOT. The MBA program includes the following areas of study: Financial Management and Economics, Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management, Strategic Management and Business Policy (Specialized field: Strategic Management), Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Accounting and Corporate Finance (Specialized field: Entrepreneurship). The MOT program provides three categories of studies: Technology Management, Process and Operations Management, and Information Technology.
WASEDA-NTU Double MBA Program (Singapore):
The NTU-Waseda Double MBA is unlike any other. In 2005, this program became the result of the first ever collaboration between a Japanese university and a university outside Japan. The program combines the best of the Nanyang MBA and Waseda University's MBA in Technology Management. -Combining Business and Technology- / In today's increasingly competitive world, a keen understanding of technology and innovation and how to harness and manage them in the complex business environment has become a key ingredient for success. This is where the NTU-Waseda Double MBA program comes in. The program emphasizes the global nature of business as well as the best practices of world-class Japanese enterprises in manufacturing and technology.
