1. ObjectiveThe Global 30 universities will be holding the Japan Education Fair in Bangkok, Thailand to introduce degree programs conducted in English at Japanese universities to prospective students. In order to attract more international students to Japan, The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT) launched the “Global 30″ Project and selected 13 universities to be part of this project. Under the Project, students can obtain degrees from prestigious Japanese universities by taking academic programs conducted in English at undergraduate and graduate levels. At the fair, faculty and administrative staff from the universities will explain about their courses, curriculum, scholarships, or admission information to students face to face. We hope many students in Thailand will take advantage of this opportunity to become more familiar about studying in Japan and our courses. Note: The universities under the “Global 30” Project are as follows: Tohoku University, University of Tsukuba, The University of Tokyo, Nagoya University, Kyoto University, Osaka University, Kyushu University, Keio University, Sophia University, Meiji University, Waseda University, Doshisha University, and Ritsumeikan University (13 universities total).
