Universities under the "Global30" Project offer a wide-range of scholarships to assist students in financing their education. The following pages provide information on each university's major scholarships and the procedures for applications.
Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho: MEXT) Scholarship Students
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) offers scholarships to international students who wish to study at Japanese universities. If you would like to know more about this scholarship, you can also contact your nearest Embassy of Japan.
Honors Scholarship for Privately Financed International Students
This scholarship is provided by Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO).
Applications should be made through the Japanese universities.
Scholarships from Private Foundations
Private foundations also offer many opportunities for international students.
